Japanese Embassy donates solar power plant to school | Allahabad News


Prayagraj: Minister of Economy and Development, Embassy of Japan, Shingo Miyamoto and First Secretary of the Embassy Nishi Ryuhei visited Vishnu Bhagwan Public School in Jhalwa on Tuesday.
The duo were at school for the handover ceremony for the school’s hostel building solar photovoltaic power plant project. The equipment was provided under the Japanese government’s Support for Local Projects (GGP) program.
This particular project aims to provide stable and uninterrupted electricity and maintain a healthy educational and living environment for our students, said Secretary, UTTAN KK Tiwari.
The Government of Japan hopes that this project will create a positive impact on students by helping to transform the eco-friendly school through sustainable development.
The guests were welcomed by Tiwari presenting a stolen bouquet and a souvenir in addition to the tulsi mala.
In his welcome address, Tiwari informed the guests of the various initiatives that the organization undertakes for the development of society and for sustainable development. He also informed the guests about the opening of Sambhunath Hospital.
The dignitaries then visited Shambhunath Hospital and appreciated the layout of the hospital. They have shown keen interest in improving and strengthening the medical support system to provide better facilities for patients.
