MADworld, UCOLLEX, Psychic VR Lab and Animoca Brands Japan will showcase XR Art at NFT.NYC 2022


The collaboration with MADworld aims to bring NFT technology closer to Japanese art and culture by superimposing their works on a virtual space. New York City urban landscape. Masayuki Kojo

Based in Uji, Kyoto, At Masayuki Kojo’s motto is “A warrior is not a fighter, but a warrior is he who has determination”. Kojo is active as a “painter specializing in warrior paintings”, using sumi ink to depict the “preparation” of warriors of the Warring States period.

Kojo has practiced live art himself, aiming to expand the recognition of “live art” and to carry out “Live Art Koshien”, a festival for high school artists with the aim of “changing the future of painters”.

In recent years, Kojo has collaborated with “Star Wars” and “The Avengers” movies, manga, anime, and video games. The collaborative warrior painting was made possible through a conversation with vocalist Tsuyoshi Nagabuchi. The 3-way cross between Yomiuri Giants x Under Armor x Masayuki Kojo garnered a lot of attention, and his collaborative warrior paintings with various genres such as sports, artists, and sports brands became a hot topic.

Kenichi Asano

Kenichi Asano uses a hybrid of classical and digital sculpting techniques. Previously, Asano used “possession” as his theme, where he merges elements of pop culture and sublimates them into contemporary art.

In recent years, while working on shrine statues, Asano has also released a real-world avatar robot called “Possessed”. In 2021, Asano collaborated with Naohito Funabashi on the “ghost” virtual space. It represents the next evolution of sculpture.

Crazy Chocolate

She started creating illustrations in 2018 with a desire to pass on traditional Japanese culture to the younger generation. His unique style is characterized by the incorporation of Japanese tradition and street art. In 2019, she launched ^on_ENCOUNT a street-style haori brand that weaves traditional craftsmanship with a modern, wearable aesthetic.
